great shot! i have some shots of the same night, although, where i am (40 mins south of newcastle) we didn't get anywhere near as defined clouds as it seems you did. For a couple of weeks there we had some wild nights though... a photographer's dream!

Very cool Kevin! Almost looks like it is smoke from a smoldering hot fire!
I just got some pretty cool shots of the clouds today, just as the sun was setting! I plan to post them tomorrow!

Awesome clouds, it looks like the sky is being taken over by yellow-orange cotton balls! Very pretty though, in a dangerous sort of way.

Oh, yeah! Those are mammatus clouds, as cold air aloft starts sinking rapidly into the warmer lower layer.
