Thanks for your comments on this image and on my California Rose. I used a little bit of Photoshop on this one. The flamingos were actually in different planes; they were not next to each other. You may notice that the one on the left is in sharper focus than the one on the right. The eye of the bird on the right was out of focus and was a distraction, so I copied the eye from the left flamingo and pasted it over the eye of the right flamingo.
