Marvellous composition Chris. Everything takes the eye to the large building at the top of the hill, then the church spire takes you to the golden cloud. Compliments. Den

Well Chris yesterday I said I loved the Dark mood. This morning my monitor rolled over and died. Today, with a new monitor, the mood is not nearly so dark. But I like the picture even more. Best regards, Larry

Excellent departure from your norm Chris, well done. Love the percpective, the drama, the balance and the fact that the clouds look so different from the rest of the image adds to the overall atmosphere. Rather than just a good shot of an English village you have managed something, for me anyway, far more interesting.
Cheers and keep experimenting

Hi Chris; it seems that it's been awhile since our paths have crossed-- I'm sure mostly my fault as I haven't been very active on UF for awhile. Last I remember is you were in the throes of some kind of flu-- hope you're back to normal.
This is really a nice-- and very interesting shot-- with a dramatic sky and an excellent composition that leads the viewers eyes right up to the focal points-- the people and interesting architecture. The sky and "tone" give it a bit of a threatening character. Well done! Cheers. Craig
