I've lived almost all my life in the country, saw thousands of webs and spiders each year in and outside the house, never thought of photographing them this way. Now I can't stop. This one came out of a photo I actually thought was a misfit (is that a good word?), but by blowing it full size I saw this little jewel hanging there.
It was just a minor thing hanging on a stonewall in the kitchen. Ouch...now you know I'm not a good housewife ha ha, I hate cleaning up all the time. If I was a better housewife, I couldn't have made all thos spiderweb photos, because they wouldn't have been there.

Very well done. Deeper and deeper into the web it seems. It's another world, isn't it ?

Actually Del, I've never seen the 'Spider man's'comic books, don't know if they have them overhere. And yes, you're right, I probably will never really leave the spider's world, it's too beautiful and interesting (and close to home)

Nice contrasts in this photo, I never thought for a minute you would leave your world of spiders. I bet you like "spider man" comics too?. Del.

I was thought this image as a necklace on a woman :) Very interesting capture, the dof adds much to the photo. Thanks for sharing. Alper

Interesting, I like the balance between the net and its victim, particularly with this simple but strong background
