my coopix has scenes but this was again in normal position.... so I sharpen and adjust a little bit contrast and lighting by corel draw or PS..... filika Marian

Actually the effect I mean is seen even better than my image at your newer one "early morning overcast..." which I have told you I like a lot.
I guess there your camera made the "choice" automatically, or did you use a landscape preset?
Sorry about the technique talk. I find it so usefull sometimes and basicaly I know very little.

I attach you a family photo here. I used the smallest aperture my camera allowed in order to give clouds more drama and tonality. It seems that you might had the time to adjust this detail for that composition. I try to do this when there is outdoors light and nice natural elements.

The black and white works. But I am missing something here. Maybe smaller aperture give you more tones on the clouds. I don't know
