well paul, asked about them when i saw your question and apparently they only showed up a couple of years ago. a breeding couple was seen and after the milkweed was planted settled down. Since then we've had 2 or 3 breeding couples a year here but no migration as such.

Wonderfull details, dof , colours and whatever I forgot to mention. When I see this, I really want to go to a zoo here in Holland where is a huge butterfly garden, to shoot some great pics too. Maybe I will in the coming week.
