Gosh, thanks, Tiffany! The sunlight presented that edge to me in such strong contrast to the background section of this large sculpture, and I saw it before I raised my viewfinder.

i enjoy the minimalist movement in painting very much, and this has a definate correspondence with that style. great simplification and the red hue works nice on the black. nice and abstract.

I always say it's all around us - my son's wife looks at almost every one of my pictures with a twitching lip - looks at me and says as nicely as she can - why'd you take a picture of that? -- beauty is all around if we only open our eyes and hearts and shut off our doubting minds - very well done - the color and composition are exceptional .
