Hard to find that particular poem in english. I am sure there is a translation, and I know there is one in german. In the mean time I am sure this goes well with your half... at least is a little of what I would do to know your other half. Hope you like it.

I Like For You to be Still
I like for you to be still: it is as though you were absent,
and you hear me from far away and my voice does not touch you.
It seems as though your eyes had flown away
