Good question, Roger!! I'm not good with flower names, but these chaps looked liked (giant) daisies, so that's what I called them. Unfortunately I can't really do 'macro' at the moment as neither of my Nikon lenses are equipped for real close up work. The shot was taken at f9, 1/100th sec, with my 300mm lens fully extended ~ and hand held! Thanks for the comment ~ great to hear from you again. Best regards, Chris

Chris, are these actually daisies? I mean, is this a macro? Or is it some variety of giant daisy (I'm not up on flower names). You don't give the F/number, which would have given me a clue on how to read the out-of-focus blurring. Nice shot, anyway.

I think this flower plays a role in the love affair internationally; here too each petals play alternatively as YES or NO till the end of flower as magic answering machine for doubtful lovers :))

Chris I remember that song all to well. Now you can guess how old I am. Much older than you. I must be the oldest member of usefilm.. This is an excellent rendition of the daisys. They really stand out from the background. As usual very well done. Don.
