Hi Brad,
Wow! Thanks you so much, Brad! This is the most flattering compliment I have recieved since I joined UF. I'm so happy that you enjoyed my photographs and you understand what I am aiming as a new-born photographer. And how glad I am that you enjoyed them as well. I believe I am still in the stage where I'm still searching for my own style and interests in photography. I learned a lot from BIG guys like you and I wanna thank you for that, for being an inspiration.

And like I said, I only want to create photos that will forever remain in everyone's heart. And thru your true comments, I believe I can do that.

Thanks again for dropping by and for all the helpful comments and tips!

b.rgrds,
Larry

Larry, I'm quite impressed by the fact that you have shown such an inspired perspective with your work. If you've only been shooting for a year, you are WAY ahead of the curve... I looked at your portfolio, and what you have to say, and your photographs, and I am completely convinced that you will go as far as you desire. Your shots clearly indicate that you put thought into what you're doing. You have a great eye, you chose intelligent shooting angles, and you understand how to bring attention to the shot in an unconventional and personal way.

This particular shot shows that you have a clear understanding of how to communicate your ideas in a dynamic and dramatic way. The lighting and the close crop highlight the image perfectly. I will follow what you have to offer from here forward, and I appreciate you recent kind comments. Keep moving forward!

And oh, bye the way...your "about" does not (in my opinion) detract from the image, it adds to it. ...Brad

Thanks Amy. It means so much! :) Yeah, should have posted the one with no text. I still have the original one with no text. I always make sure to retain the original copy before i put text on it or manipulate anything. So, I guess Im still safe. ehehehe

Larry - emotion is powerfully conveyed here! The b/w tones and the blur emphasize it, the texture on the wall, the harsh light on the wall - all of it is strong. I agree with David that the text is distracting though, you could perhaps put it in a border instead of the photo itself. Great stuff Larry!

this image is soooo relaxing... anyway, i love how you chose to use side lighting... dramatic darks and high key hightlights, contrast makes it tense, me digs :)
