alison, this was taken at about 6:20 in the evening, on the west coast of Ko Samui. i went three nights in a row to take photos at sunset, and this was the best effort. Ko Samui is a nice place, but very overcrowded in some areas. All the photos in my portfolio from Ko Samui were taken in areas where there are few people, the south and this area in the west.

Wonderful picture and beautiful colours as well. When I'm aloud to make a comment: only crop something at the top, the white stuff can taken away, it will make the photo stronger.
But still it is a very nice picture with great light on the water, congrats, Femmke

James, you have a very deep barrel, if you consider this from the bottom of the barrel.
The world can't have enough good quality, scenes of boats, water and beautiful skies.
Nice composition, good detail. I wonder if you had considered cropping some of the upper portion where the sky just seems to fade and dissipate into nothingness ... Mark
