The castle in Krasiczyn, one of the greatest treasures of Renaissance-Mannerist architecture in Poland, is also one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. It was built in the late 16th and early 17th century by Stanisław Krasicki and his son Marcin. The castle's two curtain walls are decorated with a lovely openwork attic. Four round towers stand at the corners - the Divine, Papal, Royal, and Noblemen's towers (their names symbolize the hierarchy of the world approved by the castle's founders, encompassing both this world and eternity).
