Thanks for the comments Len, really appreciate it. Looked through part of your portfolio, and it was interesting to look at your photos bringing to life places named in a book I am reading called "Up Country" (Nelson DeMille) - Jan

Congrats on critique of the day, Janice! I wasn't even a part of Usefilm when you posted this shot, but I sure like it! The frame is just perfect to set it off!

Dear Janice Every photographer wants to get the WB as close to perfect as they can directly from the cam. I take most all my photo's in raw format, this
allows some wiggle room in post processing where adjustments to the photo's WB. Since my primary cam is a Nikon D70 I use Nikon Capture 4.2.0. I shoot
sometimes with preset WB,Auto-2,Flash,Cloudy etc. there just isn't one WB setting for all..

Regards
Tom

Thomas - you are right - the sun was hitting from the right "hot and heavy" and I don't know how to do an isolation correction in PS yet. Just learning. Got any suggestions?

Very nice Janice. It's hard to get the WB just right. The flower to the right is blowen somewhat, but all in all very good. 6/6
