My wife just looked over my shoulder and said. "Hey, it looks just like a big lizard!" Then I showed her the title...
I like the low POV and the three bands of water, yellow grasses and forest. I'm from Victoria, but I live in China, and appreciate a scene like this.

This one is beautifully composed Kim. Very tranquil scene indeed. The log has a few hotspots, but a better scanner would certainly help there. Great eye for this one! Aloha.

Oh Kim, this made my day. I had to laugh. What a great find and you treated it with grand style! I was thinking "what the heck is a lizard log?" I love it, what humor! And it's a lizard with feathers too. So good to hear from you, my friend!

Wow cool! And named appropriately too....I love that still water and the beautiful reflections. The contrasting colors are truly beautiful... do you see a little yellow arrow in the water on the tree reflection or is that just my monitor...Wonderful image beautifully presented....:) Linda

Kim, untill I opened the thumbnail I didnt see any resemblance to a lizard, but when I opened it then I saw what you were talking about. To me, it looks more like an alligator. Good eye in seein this. Jim Gamble
