Hi Kenneth, cool shot. Very nice curves and lighting, good focus. I was interested looking through your portfolio, all the shots you have from Barker Pond :) That is a good training ground. Enjoy it.
Best wishes and thanks for your comment.

Hi Kenneth. Thank you for your comment. I took the liberty to view your portfolio and you do very good work. This photo I like very much for the shape and geometric lines it presents. Very good.

I'm glad I discovered your portfolio, and I'm glad you discovered Usefilm. The simplicity is awesome here, plus the green-on-green tone adds a wonderful element.

Now I have to go out into my own backyard and shoot something!

I really like this. If you hadn't have named it in the title I wouldn't have known what it was...and it wouldn't have mattered. It is well captured and thought out. The only suggestion I can make to help you is when you are selecting an area always try to feather it and that will soften all the edges of an area. I hope that helps.

Ken, I love what you see in your back yard. Your work is inspiring. Finding shapes can be a challenge, but you keep at it. They're great. John

Excellet work here!

I like how the background color matches the focal point of the image but doesn't cause the foreground to blend too much and lose focus. It's very complentary.

The lighting and crop (which suspends the chives with no visable grounding) leands a lovely, surreal effect to something that is typically very ordinary.

The curves and shape lead the eye through the photo and the simplicity gives it impact.

Again, very good work!
