This is on the A1? It looks as though it's from some tiny forgotten backwater. The moody sky adds to the "end of the road" atmosphere. The strong colours also help to make this a very appealing shot.

Bob ,you deserve a lot more credit than what you are getting .Just looked through your stuff again and you only have one award.That is short of being outragous.If award are to be handed out then they should go to the right photographers.

Bob! This is about 1/2 mile from where I'm typing this comment, in wooler!
As we passed this in the car, a couple of hours ago, I said, "I wonder when this place last serviced a car". Then, I look on this sight, and - there it is! (a bit more colourful than in the real world. mind!)
A great image. A seven. Damn! Wish I'd thought to take it!

An excellent capture, Bob! I like those colours and the rundown appearance, especially against that dark sky. The road winding by into the distance certainly adds interest as well.
