Dried roses have a special beauty of their own. Yes, past their prime, but still lovely with something wonderful to offer (just like some people). The subtle changes of lighting makes it impossible to pass this by. It is a beautiful presentation showing dried up can be delightful. Mary

Thanks a lot, Dorothy. I was blocked for a long while yesterday. No explanation given at the time. A good friend interceded on my behalf before the almighty, and I've been let out of the corner again.

A wonderful dried up rose Angelo! Love the textures in this one. What I like about this is that it isn't something most people would take a picture of, personally I would have to add just a hint of color into this, but hey that is just me! ;) Dorothy e mail me please, it's in my profile.

And this one did it gracefully, nice tones Angelo, showing the delicacy of the aging petals..a lovely crop, I like that it gets softer and fades away at the edges, nicely illustrating the passage from one cycle to another...beautifully done...:):)Linda

György,
There's a "Philosophy Of Photography Forum" (www.usefilm.com/photo_forum/11/), I guess you just read stuff that's there, post a question or respond in some thread.

Very nice, Angelo. The roseate swirl is, of course, eyecatching, as is your combination of clarity and blur. Regards. ~ Tim

My what a sad rose, the duotone is great. I use it lot with my work. I really like the soft edges, it brings out the center of the sad rose, and the details are marvelous.
Outstanding!

Nice color work done on this rose, nice detail on the rose itself and I like how it is blurred around the edges, cool effect.

This is very beautiful, sensual and a little frightening at the same time. You cannot remain neutral by looking at it. - As for your suggesting a forum discusion on the philosophy of photography and gicing titles, I am open to it. How do you do it?
