Hello Monika (or narabia?), you have a great portfolio and in particular I like your flower shots. This one is amazing it is so subtle with the wonderful contrast of cool and warm colours and the play of softness versus the detail. It cannot get any better, or? This one goes to my favorites. What you mentioned in your "about" is one of the reasons I like to take those soft flower macro shots. There is a component of chance that creates fully unplanned effects in the background and in the interplay of background and object, often enhancing it. I had one of those moments with my Annemone blanda III posted here on this site (http://www.usefilm.com/image/744364.html), where the background was an old brick wall of my neighbours house in the city. Looking through the viefinder one did not expect that the blurring would create a whole new subtle shade of brick pink/orange in the final picture.
I am looking forward to checking out your portfolio in more detail.
Regards Jörg

You have got a great portfolio, I like this one very much actually as many others of your flower pictures. Wonderful here the play of softness and detail, of cool and warm colours. You have a great vision for flowers. This one goes to my favorites. It cannot get an better, or?? On another note I agree that using shallow Dof the blurry background get a special quality not seen while taking the shot and looking through the viewfinder. It is one of the reasons that attracts me to taking such pictures: If you like check my Anemone blanda III (http://www.usefilm.com/image/744364.html) : here the background was an old brick wall of our neighbours house and in the photo it looks as if I had used a screen in a studio. Same here with yours! Looking forward to checking out more your portfolio.
Best regards Jörg

This is your typical style and I'm so happy to see your flowers. They truly bring back the sensibility of Spring into fiery colours of Autumn. Excellent in all aspects.

Simply beautiful work, I wish I could have something like this as my desktop.

Cheers!

Francisco
