Nice image.. good timing.... the noise looks like it came from JPEG compression. I sometimes get it when I have to reduce images to put on usefilm (do to the small size requirements) You could use neat image to get rid of the noise.. Of course, like all programs, it needs to be used sparingly... good work

hi, could be,but i only saw it last yr. on some of my work and it was always after sharpening or some light effect......i quit using the sharpen tool after i saw the jagged noise and couldn't effectively remove with PSP8 tools...i depend more on getting it right as much as possible
in-camera and unless photoart,i use little PSP8...
sorry i couldn't be more helpful...maybe upload it in help forum to get some advice...bet Roger would have an opinion ;>

wow! what a sense of timing! amazing capture. the quality of the scan is poor though with (sadly said) a bad effect on the pic. apart from that - very well done,

best wishes, jacek

Dear Paul, No it's not me.....This happens to be Lori, a neighbourhood gal who we were all positioning ourselves for.....ah, how can I put this....well, you know, the boys on the block had some specific ideas about a number of things that involved the young, curve-y, las - things I can't get into details about since there's youngsters floating around (but can all be found on the internet).
If you're talking about the new, improved bio pic yeah, that's me and if you have a time machine we can meet him. I have some things I want to tell him (plus I'd really like to get out of this decade, REALLY would like to - going back sounds good. You know, what Macca said,"Get Back to Where You Once Belonged"). I decided to change the schoolboy youngster pic since it was quite an old joke....This one's fresh. No I haven't been to Bournemouth but it sounds like a jolly good time if you say it's heavenly. The only piece of heaven I can find around here is a Super Grande Midori Marguerita on the rocks, no salt. If you can't get your body there at least try for the head - goes good with some super thin tortilla chips and some very nice salsa....Your Man on the Scene, Marky

I like the angle, the exposure values, and the sharp shadow of toes on the board.

I thought it was a compression thing?

Mark, is this you?
Before your stint on the London Underground as one of their experimental singing train drivers.

This photo reminds me of Bournemouth. In Bournemouth, lots of people can be seen suspended from the sky with invisible 1960s parachute silk.
Have you ever been to Bournemouth?
It is just, like, heavenly.

Paul

Glasses? I've been putting 'em off for years. What I think i did is sharpen once to often cause you shoud see the s**t print I had to work with. Forget the water, think of it as late 60's trippy halucination liquid..... it's all about the caboose anyway....

hi, going to bed but just thought i would tell you that it isn't grain that is the problem,it is jpeg artefacts...whatever you did with PS created the jagged noise that look like puzzle pieces.....it shows up alot on my monitor...rescan and try again...wear your glasses to proof it before posting ;>.......otherwise an interesting shot from a different perspective ...yep,she has the whole kit and caboodle going on! regards, honeychild

seems you got a problem with your scanner ;) nice composition. I absolutely would like to see the background colored blue. Grain doesnt look good on this picture. This is just my personel opinion. Regards..
