Afraid you left me behind there... TOO abstract for me. Give me time, though. In the last two years I have learned to take people, and to use an SLR, not just rangefinder cameras (my first love), for abstracts and the occasional telephoto shot. So maybe I can learn to take better abstracts? We shall see. Thanks for your encouragement, Baki.

Wonderful lighting, colors and semi-abstract feeling. Neat pattern on the railings. Great perspective shot with good composition imho.

This is a cool line Roger. I can see why you keep going back..the slight curve to the windows and the zig zag of the posts make for a great photo.

By "more of an abstract" I really meant this wouldn't pass as a photo of the bridge, so I decided to CALL it an abstract... I even deliberately allowed the tension cables to be seen instead of taking them head-on and so rendering it MORE abstract. I do like the colour chord, though.

I'll disagree with you, I think it's still quite recognisably a bridge rather than an abstract. For an abstract you could go closer in - judging by this photo, the ingredients are all there (textures, materials, even colours to some extent).

I am so glad you like Fuji Pro 400... I wondered, after my enthusiastic recommendation, whether you might be disappointed. Personal taste also has a lot to do with choice of film. Do try it with mixed lighting, you will be amazed.
So these bridges are common in Europe, too? Very photogenic!

I see you got the same tension bridges in japan as overhere, very popular the last decades. Indeed a nice abstract. Superia 400 is goo enough. Does not exist medium format. Though I am happy with the Pro 400H. Wonderful qaulity.
