Nuts? The more the wind howls, the better it is (though the temperature is another matter...) This does look like a pretty dismal day, though, brightened only by the kite.
Shots of kiting are not easy, not least because the kite is so far away from the kiter. You've done a nice job here, though I would perhaps prefer the kiter a little closer.

It sure was a cool day Todd. That guy must have been a die-hard to be out like this. Well captured, and I like how you used the available light of the overcast day to make the colorful kite stand out.

An interesting actin shot, Todd, made all the better by the great colours of the kite, against the near b/w tones of the rest of the image.
