dear Cristina,
i like this serie. in the serie this is my favourites. i loved so much biggy black space and minimal arrangement on the right bottom.

my best regards,
jezabel / tutku.

I love the selective colour in the desaturated version, you are such a clever girl. Well done Cristina in giving us another creative composition. Best wishes...Ray

Dear Cristina,

Many thanks for the comment one my ?Glass Eyes? shot.

As you pointed out, good, honest critique is hard to come by, and there?s a number of reasons for that; the main one being that you never know how the other person is going to take it.

Written text as opposed to verbal communication can be misinterpreted especially here where you have people from all nations, but the main language is English.

I?m always willing to speak my mind about a photograph, but in the same breath I will post comments like ?Fabulous!? when I really like something and I feel that whatever I might say it?s not going to do that shot justice.

Another factor to keep in mind is that I?m by no means an expert, but just an amateur, and I wouldn?t want to say to someone that the lighting is a bit wrong, when they might be a professional.

Now for the critique:-

Most definitely the de-saturated version! Colour version is too warm and not as effective. The slight colouring of the lips is a very nice touch, and the colour is just right.

Like the black background, very good use of negative space, but I would still crop it, probably to about half, to give the frame a rectangular shape.

Regards,
Ciprian
