Mike, Thank you for your input and I'm not offended by your comment at all. However, I would like to say that I'm not a profession photographer & I don't have thousands of dollars worth of equipment and background. As a matter of fact, I haven't made two nickles to rub them together...haha. When this picture was taken, Giselle wasn't scheduled to shoot. She was chaperone for Lizy(previous pics). It so happened that I was in the process of assembling the bed that afternoon. She liked the bed and wanted to shoot then & there. The problem was that I coundn't find the hardware fastner(nuts&bolts) for the bed so we couldn't move it. We shot it as is. I have fixed the b/g and Giselle loved it. That's the story with this pics. Thank you everyone for your comments.
I think I agree with donato about the background, the wicker chair in what looks to me to be a living room or something just doesn?t work for me here. I know you?re a professional photographer and you have access to thousands of dollars of props, equipment and backgrounds.. I?ve seen your very impressive portfolio! But I?m wondering where you were going with this shot. Just in terms of the background.. The rest of the shot is perfect, although I?m not really comfortable with the catch lights in her eye?s, something about them, either they are a little too bright or she needs more, or they are too centered.. too big.. I?m not sure.. I think it?s a 5.5 leaning towards the average side, but it could have made an easy 7 if I understood the background. Please don?t be offended, it?s not my intention to have sounded rude, it?s just my opinion ~Mike
Very nice pose, shows the great confidence she had in you. Light is well spread on her skin. What I don't really like is the background. Try to clone it away and replance it with a white background. ciao Donato
