Cool shot, Andy. Just make the best of what you've got, and don't fret TOO much about not getting the perfect shot. It's still awesome.

I will probably have a go in the levels - have a look at histogram... surely you have a lot of information in the middle, not much at the ends... try to bring both ends closer Maybe use the curves to bring back some light to the dark corner that annoys you... I had a quick go...

Thanks again Derek, I had a nagging suspicion someone would say that - I'm going to play around with Curves and see if I can give it that touch more impact. - Andy

I really like this shot. Love the composition and anlge - Not really bothered about the shadow, doesn't disturb me... the creeping in lamp can be a easy digtital retouch. What i really think it lacks is constrast, not much but a bit more I think will make the image stronger
