I will probably have a go in the levels - have a look at histogram... surely you have a lot of information in the middle, not much at the ends... try to bring both ends closer
Maybe use the curves to bring back some light to the dark corner that annoys you...
I had a quick go...

LOL, I see things after I post as well. If you didn't mention it I probably would not have seen it either as the building draw my gaze upwards. Nice picture, well done.

I really like this shot. Love the composition and anlge - Not really bothered about the shadow, doesn't disturb me... the creeping in lamp can be a easy digtital retouch.
What i really think it lacks is constrast, not much but a bit more I think will make the image stronger
