Emotive landscape, I think you got there just at the right time with the clouds and lighting, but in the end your skill at placing that tree for perspective really sells the feeling.
The B+W is more impressive graphically and brings out the contrast and definition, but once again I start to think about "B&W Bias".
All in all, a welcome BIP.

Wonderful cloud shapes - looks like those on the left are almost in the field. This desaturated version is good for bringing out the patterns and textures, but I like the colour version as well.
