Gery good use of geometry in your composition, or is that Calculus???? Seriously, I like the way you have used line in this image. The frame has a balanced feel. The soft tones further enhance the effect, which contrasts with the harsh stare from the student. Congrats Tore.

A beautiful portriat. Such an interesting expression on this young woman's face! Nice lighting, though I do wish there were more light on the woman's sweatshirt, hair, and face. That would have added to the texture bouquet here. Still, the dimness adds a little mystery and that is part of this shot's attraction. Also, the shading and contrast of the wall and the blackboard is very eye catching and pleasing. Nice use of near-monochrome coloring. Congratulations on the well deserved Staff Choice!

Tore - I love the scratchy feel to this. Really emphasises the chalk-board in the shot. Amazing look on the teen - so VERY much her age. The subtle tones of the shot really pulls this all together.
