  Q. Hot Spots
Chad Parish
Asked by Chad Parish    (K=6440) on 10/9/2006
Anyone know if there is a way with PS to reduce hot areas on a photo?

Example, the top of the pumpkins in this photo.

Depends really Chad . . . this is exposure issues . . . and if you shoot in Raw, a lot can be done. http://www.usefilm.com/image/1188898.html is a shot of mine that demonstrates the power inherent in Rwa image exposure issues. Simply set exposure for each problematic area and then merge the images.

I gave it a go, Chad. Accidentally put it as a "comment" on the pumpkin pic, look there if you want to see what I came up with.
