  Q. Panoramic shoots
Michael Schuier
Asked by Michael Schuier    (K=4804) on 10/7/2005
I am starting to want to take large panoramic pictures. I use Adobe Photoshop CS. I am still having trouble splicing these pictures together. I set the shutter to the same time, ISO is always the same and I set to the same white balance. Is there another easy way to do Panoramic, or do I have to just spend time trying to find the right balance in PS? Thanks
Michael

Michael,

I tried all kids of panorama software. Right now my absolute favorite is "autostitch". It is 100% automatic, so the software just grabs the photos and creates a panorama without any input required from you.
The other big advantage is its extremely fast.

But best of all, its free!

Michael,

Here's a link to a pano image and down the comments is a link to a very good tutorial written previously on the photo forums.

http://www.usefilm.com/image/915257.html

The pano shot was constructed using the same process as described in the tutorial.

One thing don't use a polarizer as the skies will be difficult to splice.
