Dear friends,
I decided to buy a Nikon D80. Please let me know your experience with this camera and how you compare it to yours others cameras.

Hi Roberto

Check the Usefilm blog: http://photoblog.usefilm.com/articles/2006/11/01/by-thom-offers-a-vast-reference-source-for-nikon-users

Or search for a few reviews on the internet - there are plenty of those available. For example: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond80/

Cheers,

Hugo

you can't really go wrong with any midrange to high end Nikon (or Canon or Leica).
While I've not used the D80 I've held it and own both the D70s (which it replaces) and the D200 (with which it shares quite a few components).
My main gripe with it is that it uses SD cards rather than CF, and SD cards are more fragile (because they're thinner and the chip is exposed) and easier to loose (because they're smaller).

But you're going to end up with that no matter what if you decide to buy something new in that price range as everyone seems to be shifting away from quality and ruggedness to small size and low cost.
