All depends what do you want your camera for. There´s a set of cameras for each group of tasks. What´s yours? I See some macro and landscape in your portafolio. Would you like it to point & shoot, or do you want a bunch of features on it to manually operate it?

Hi… Canon Power Shot S5 IS and Nikon P80 is a good choice… I would recommend Canon powershot S5 IS .. I recently bought one for myself.

The best way to determine what camera you want to buy is to go to some stores and look at all of them.
See if they're comfortable to hold, can you reach and use all buttons easily?
Is the layout logical, or do you need to dig deep down into some menu or press a lot of buttons simultaneously to get to some function you need?

I strongly recommended The ZUP-120 here. it's startup time is about 2~3 seconds. its response times and shot-shot delays are about average.
This camera's 3X optical zoom lens is impressive feat compared to other digital cameras, and the lens will extend beyond the camera's body when you turn on it.
