Q. Cable release for Nikon wanted

Does anybody know which cable releases can be used with a Nikon d200? The MC-36 is a little expensive for my taste! I need a button lock-down feature also. Also let me know if anybody wants to sell one.

Is this not detailed in the manual? I am waiting for my D200 to be delivered and looking for a remote cord too.

I too remember seeing that the MC-36 is about 130 quid.

The Nikon website talks about these two: Remote Cord MC-22(1m) / MC-30(0.8m) - not sure about the lock down feature and compatibility with the D200.

MC30 should work, D200 has the same connector as does the F100.
MC30 has a lock as well.
