I use www.freeservers.com ...just you get a big banner across the top of your page.

It is free and there are no adds.

I use www.netfirms.com There is a banner at the top but they have a cgi bin that you can use to run perl scripts. This is so far the only free site I have found that allows a cgi bin. If anyone knows of others please let me know.

Unfotunatelly the whole site is in italian.
