  Q. Usefilm photo display suggestion

Asked by Dmitry Gringauz    (K=1157) on 12/19/2004
Hi,

It may be worthwhile to consider changing the background color on which photos are displayed on Usefilm to 50% gray (or as close to it as can be achieved).

This will provide a more neutral background for viewing photographs, rather than pure white presently in use, especially for neutral and low-key pictures.

50% gray background is also recommended as background in many pubs to be used as background during editing, since it is less distracting, and allows eyes to relax and view colors more objectively.

I know that it is possible to add my own border, but it usually eats into the pixel and file size limitations, and does not really achieve the desired effect because usually it is rather thin.

Dmitry.
