About Well, someone has to get up before sunrise on a COLD WINTERs morning! It might as well be me getting a shot of the sun rising over the Harbour Bridge (see my portfolio #2)
This shot was taken at Balmain, which used to be the abode of our fledgling colonys' dockland workers. Now, it is a middle class and TRENDY boutique suburb on one of the prettiest peninsula overlooking the immediate harbour...

Hello,Michele.
I can appreciate your reluctance to get out of a nice warm bed, considering your lattitude! I would suspect that the climate would restrict your photo taking activities, although it's marvellous what the mind can INVENT when pushed!
I think my picture could have been straightened up as well...
Thanks again, M
JD

Thanks Vanessa, for your well recieved comment. Luckily our winters here in Sydney are very tolerable compared to a lot of other parts of our planet, which becomes apparent when conversing with other folks like yourself through this medium.
I spent my early years living in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney which occasionally gets a DUSTING of snow, but it still isn't cold.
Kind regards
JD

I am impressed that you get up before sunrise in the winter, but then we don't get sun-rise in the winter until after 8am sometimes... or sometimes dark all day long for 3 months ...
Nice shot JD. ... really nice light + reflection..., and looks likke a nice lens... plus the factor of wearing a baseball cap backwards makes this a very unique image my friend!
I am teasing with you about your hat. I like it.
Nice composition .
Cheers,
Michele~
