Hi Dave. Yes, this must be a different variety and the color is quite common here. Its the same color all through the age. Though the green is the most prominent one here too.

Nice colors, love that blue sky, Ahmed. I've seen a lot of coconuts having lived in FL but I don't remember them being this color... maybe a different variety or these are young ones.... If I remember right, the young ones in Florida were green, not gold.

I am glad You did this one in color as it is my favorite Tree and is sooooo beautiful against the blue sky- excellent even with the missing fronds- !!!!
