What a nice break from the rules of thirds and what an excellent weighting of the center of the image, Ahmed! Together with the very nice tonality we have here an almost panoramic one that puts its main subject in the middle of everything ans still lets ot look like being so far away!

Nice perspective and good tonal range. It works well in B&W even if the colors in this country are so beautiful.

Hi Dave. Like you have said, the protection is from the reef and further inside the atoll from sand banks as well. I have been there on work, but never stayed. Pretty expensive and exclusive. The whole place is for a single couple or family. So no worries about some guys rapping! Only the sound of distant waves... while you are pampered by the modern facilities and luxury inside.

That really looks like an awesome place to stay. Though I don't know if I would like to be at the mercy of a boat to take me somewhere. And knowing my luck, there's be a bunch of partying people staying there and I'd have to listen to rap music all night long....
I noticed the waves way out and it kind of confused me, thinking the foreground was sand... but I guess in an atoll, the waves must be stopped by some type of reef or sand bar that stops the ocean waves?
