This is intrigiuing. The 'lacey' tree silhouetted agianst that variated sky looks wonderful. It is so interesting how the lines of the tree mirror the lines of the clouds. Super image. MAry

Most of the time I also like more space, Ahmed! But this one is really hard to decide. Both crops I find very nice, each of them on its own ways.
Best wishes,
Nick
P.S.: A good one remains usually a good one under any crop.

Thanks so much Doyle. I too felt it was pretty tight and if more space was on the side it might have been better, after seeing the image on the computer. Unfortunately I did not get any shots as such. Regards, Ahmed

Hi Nick, I too find it hard to choose between crops. Whether to go for a tight crop of leave more space. Most of the time, I like to have more space. Regards, Ahmed

Ahmed, looking again and comparing the crop with the original, I find myself not really knowing which one to choose. So, it must be a special one if the original and the crop are both so nice.

Thanks Nick for the suggestion and the crop. I liked the clouds on top too somehow. Your crop does make it tighter. I like the idea. Regards, Ahmed

Amazing, sharp, and both plant AND weather adds a lot to the image mood, exctremely spooky! Amazing deepness of the tones and a though that weather cames with deep SNOW!!! Fantastic!

Almost unreal and very effective in its use of darker tones that fit the atmosphere so well. The details of the plat are very well displayed, especially on the upper part against the more highlighted clouds of the sky. I don't know, however, if cropping some of the sky off would make it tighter and stronger?
Best wishes,
Nick

Cropped some of the sky off |
