Hi Ken, I take a shiny piece of silver reflective mylar paper, tape it to a piece of foam board, and walk around taking photos of the reflections in the "mirror" board. I purchase the paper at art shops. I edit nearly all my photos in Photoshop, mostly adjusted contrast and color saturation. I really like your portfolio—many photos with a painted quality.

Your mirror board reflection images are very engaging Warren. What is a mirror board?

Hi Deb,

The mirror board really likes low light in the shadows. I walk around looking for it all the time. Thanks for the comment.

Hi Bryan, This effect was not created using a PS filter. I take a shiny piece of silver reflective mylar paper, attached it to a piece of foam board, and walk around taking photos of the reflections in the "mirror" board. It is like having a portable puddle to take reflection photos. I adjust contrast, color saturation, and tone in PS. The board gives especially wonderful reflections of light in the shadows. Took a peek at your portfolio--outstanding photos!

A wonderful abstract photo and photoart, Warren, and nice PS effect chosen. Very surreal.

I love the light on the stone, and somehow the mirror board almost turns this into something alive. Well done!
