Great idea - I was going to ask you how to do it - then I saw your next comment and discovered you fiddled with it and pulled it out of the background. You are right - it does look better - more impact and really allows the flower to stand out. Thanks - one day I'll start spending some more time learning how to use that program - AND my camera! Jan, I just had to do this. It is not very good being this is a low resolution image but you get the idea. This took about 10 minutes to do. Don.

Thanks Peter - actually on this one I "accidently" almost got the background I wanted - a blurred background - wanted the focus just on the flower - would have liked the background to have been just a suggestion of "shapes" - just need to practice a whole bunch more than I have been. Jan

Thanks Ellen - this shot makes a good one for applique too. Do not send cold weather! No Way! As a matter of fact I might upload a shot I took this afternoon of my lemon tree that shows getting yellow lemons and blossoms! Go figure! We have chilly - that's good enough! No snow, which is just FINE (I'll just enjoy everyone snowy shots postings.) LOL Jan

Wow that is a nice looking truck. Too bad that pesky flower got in the way. These are really interesting when you get in close and just shoot the back and the cap. Beautiful, do you need me to send you some cold weather?
