I hope you have a good "season of refreshing" away from Usefilm, and I sincerely trust that after thinking and praying it all through you will decide to continue posting here on a regular and frequent basis. Beautiful shot Chris!! I like the composition and the dramatic clouds. A very nice landscape.
I have been pretty occupied lately. after a bit of travelling, still am trying to pickup on the comments. I am almost there, to start posting photos again.

hi chris well i hope to see your work in the near future ive just stumbled across your work recently and like your approach.the photograph above expresses your style .as for (INTERNET)friends well something i learnt many years ago THE INTERNET is an OPEN FORUM (NARROW MINDED PEOPLE in many thousands)for free speech.Anyway your photography approach is excellent and can only excel more as time goes on.Its when i see photography like this and many of your others it inspires me to go out shoot landscapes & clouds like mad.

I don't know what's happening, haven't heard anything, but have noticed some are missing.
But it certainly is SAD to hear 'things' are going on.
I just read some comments below, since I rarely visit the forums I was totally unaware of certain problems........now I have to go read some more. (or maybe I should just leave well enough alone! don't know)
Anyway, I do hope you come back VERY SOON. You would be greatly missed. Very much so, and you are a 'shining light' in a sometimes darkness...

Ich bin durch einen gemeinsamen Freund von uns auf dich aufmerksam geworden. Neil.
Ich bin bei weitem nicht so in das Usefilm geschehen Integriert wie Sie oder Neil. Aber trotzdem möchte ich gerne meine Meinung dazu äussern.
Ich finde es sehr schön, dass sich soviele neue Freundschaften über diese tolle Webside entwickelt haben. Leider musste auch ich schnell feststellen, dass nicht unbedingt nur schöne Bilder zählen um wahrgenommen und fair behandelt zu werden. Allerdings möchte ich auch sagen, dass Ihr alle selber entscheiden könnt, auf welche Meinung es zu zählen gilt! Nehmt es einfach locker und versucht euch an den schönen Dingen an der Webside zu erfreuen! Last euch nicht Unterkriegen!

Chris this is a great image and a fitting one - while you take a break. I do find it hard to be tolerant of Forums threads being deleted if they do not suit admin, and questions going unanswered, but when good photographers who are very respectful of all other UFers, but do ask questions in threads are kicked off the site without notice it is bad. The only way people know what has happened is if they have made personal contact and hear that way, otherwise, particularly the non donors are completely unaware of this.

Great picture, Chris. You have an amazing portfolio and it would be sad if someone of your talent left UF... Seems from the comments you still have lots of friends left here! I hope this will not be your last post my Friend...Your work is fantastic and I will surely miss it tremendously....I hope you reconcider...There are still a lot of people here who love viewing your work...Trolls of this site almost made me leave and not look back..I viewed other sites and all things concidered equal..This is still the Best of the Best.
I thought and thought about the same thing...And decided that the Grass is never greener on the other side.
Please take a bit of time and do some thinking as I have done...then come back!
If not....please let me know where you have landed..I ALWAYS love viewing and tracking your work...Very inspiring.

As a relative newcomers to Usefilm I really don't understand what is going on. It seems that it's just a few bad apples...but so many are jumping ship because of it.
