I totally agree with you about the tree, and was frustrated with it when I shot this. Unfortunately there was an obstruction to my right (and left!) so I wasn't able to re-position for a better shot. Thank you for your comments! :)

Great silhouette shot!!! Love the diagonal backdrop and the grey/black hues, good composition... well done!!! The only thing... too bad the tree in the background on the right now leans against the temple whereas if it would've been standing free it would be an even nicer pic IMHO... cutting the tree down isn't/wasn't an option... ;-D ... moving just a bit to the right might've been...
