Excellent composition Kathy, like the diagonal arrangement - classic- and the details. The frame mybe be not the best choice for me, but the shot is great.

Wow, how can a simple chain look so glamerous. This is a great photo. Nice crisp sharp details. The frost looks so neat and fuzzy I just want to pet the darn thing. Great capture.

Brrr, you have succeeded in making me feel VERY cold with this image, Kathy. The diagonally placed chain contributed greatly to the success of this shot. Great macro work, Kathy

Nice capture, Kathy!
I like the fact that the frost is not too dense, allowing for the colors and detail of both the chain and background to show through.

Best regards,
Bob

Wow Sissy...into my favorites! I LOVE it. I'm undecided about the frame...I think you could have gone either way. The frost really makes the shot and I love the diagonal. Great job...again!

The very fine detail of the frost seen on the links of the chain is a nice capture. Nice colours in your photograph also

This is a wonderful pic. Normally, rusty chains, especially with a wood background are fairly flat. But the frost brings out contrast and texture, both of which I like. imho, I would lose the boarder as previously stated. It's a distraction that takes the focus away from the subject especially on closeups.

Fantastic shot Kathy! And in my honest opinion it doesn't need a frame, it has so much strength on its own! The clarity and detail are fantastic, and the colors are beautiful, made even more interesting by the frost. Great image, love it! Ina

Hi Kathy, I like the feel of frost on the chain, with the subdued colours and all. Not so sure about the frame; IMHO, it works a bit counter effecitve, as it's more of a distraction than an addition to this shot. A simple line around the image would do nicely, but that's just my opinion. Nice use of diagonals, though, and the textures in the bark have been well captured, very nice indeed!

Cheers,

Hugo
