An awesome capture of an awesome volcano. The detail is excellent and the animals in the foreground add interest and scale. Great shot. I think while the animals are there you are safe because they would be first to bug out of there if it starts to wake up. Animals always sense these things and disappear if nature starts to get dangerous.

You are right, better left to sleep... It's an awesome sight. Reminds me of Mt. Fuji here in Japan (no vicunas here, though, except those that have been made into overcoats!).

yes, it looks a little bit like Osorno, I was also there, but that giant was shrouded in clouds most of the time and I couldn't take a good picture.
