About Taking a picture of something as intangable as wind can be quite a challenge. Taking a picture of Hawaiian Trade Winds proved to be an even greater challenge. Taken on a warm windy evening while visiting Kauai between boughts of rain.

This is a great photo Jim, you have really captured teh wind here. This is what I am aiming at, being able to tell a story in a photo rather than just making a record of an object.
Well done.

Hi Jim, the dynamism in this photo is fascinating, and I do like single lighting source in it, as it casts a very gloomy atmosphere over the scene. Superb shot.

Cheers,

Nice effect. Thought it was a night shot at first but now realise the stars are rain drops. Love it for it's soft look and appearance of movement.
