Paul,

I can assure you, that the horizontal and vertical aspects of this capture are prefect! The wind pressing the flag and the pole came from the right, which made the pole bend to the left...

Look again and you will see it's not off by 1 degree, but only a bowing "Flagstaff" affording the effects of this wonderful photo...

Thank you for stopping by my friend,

Marty

wow Marty, Perfect!
It has such an awsome effect for having
done nothing to it.....You noticed that
too dident you?
The very first thing I would have thought of
if this were my pic looking at it for the first time, Id saw wow perfect......then be pissed that the pole were not straighter.........I always have to catch myself when shooting flags.
I also make sure I take lots of snaps so that I know I get one good one. I have noticed its hard to do and that I only get maybe ....one or two out of about a dozen shots that come out straight and then be nicely exposed.

This is really splendid.....

Kay,

I did cheat a little by leaving a tad of color in the capture.

Thank you my friend,

Marty

Mattia,

Thank you so very much my friend. This is more of a desaturation than total B&W. I left only a slight bit of color in the capture.

Welcome to UF and enjoy,

Martin

Paul,

Well when life serves up lemons, just make lemon aid... I didn't even take the sun spots out? Just desat the colours and changed the contrast and brightness a touch...

Thank you my friend,

Marty

I never would have thought a flag would look good in BW- but you pulled it off! Really brings out the luminocity of the sun behind it. WEll done, my friend!
