Hi Mireille, I like the combination of colours in this one. The orange fungy coincdes well with the green, and the subtle layer of frost addsto the whole scene. The small tilt and the composition are just spot on. Very nice shot.
Cheers,
Hugo

Yes Mireille, you have to chenge your lens. The focus is back, in the wood: you wanted that? The middle of the nice spotted board is the only thing clear. If you want that, the grass should be only a border (it become an orizzontal composition). I have seen much, much better pictures in your gallery!

Thanks Joggie for your constructive comment. Will try out with my macro lens, yet it may be a little too cold here for lying on my stomach (prefer doing that in summer or in your country right now) ;-) Regards, Mireille

Nice colours Mireille. A difficult shot to get right if you cannot get close enough to really show the ice crystals on the leaf edges. As it is the image seems to have 2 focal points - the leaves in the foreground and the wood in the background. The out of focus area between them forces the eye back and forth between the areas. I would suggest a lower viewpoint (lying on your stomach)with the leaves in focus and the background soft (f11 -16). An extention tube or a close-up lense will also make a huge difference on the macro capabilties of your Sigma lens. Great work and thanks for sharing! Kind regards. Joggie
