Oh I don't think these windmills are ugly at all. There was a huge collection of them in Mojave in California that I photographed often and I was always fascinated by them. Maybe because they were in vast numbers I enjoyed watching them but these 2 that you've captured here are so moody in the fog like this. I think they make for wonderful shapes and give a great dreamy feeling in the fog here. I like the composition you've chosen. It adds isolation to the dreamy feel. By seeing only a small portion of the 2nd windmill it really shows how thick the fog was. Great capture and the mood was captured very nicely too. Great image Mireille.
Cheers - Ann :)

Hi Mireille...yes I can just make out where the second one stands. Goodness this was a foggy day! This is a wonderful murky moody composition and the tones are truely great. I love the simpleness of your shot and I agree, there is nothing attractive about them but I do think they are better than pylons and wires all over the landscape. Well done my sweet, another super 'Dream' into the series...All the best..Ray
