We noticed this bird spending quite a bit of time alone and at one particular feeder. Then noticed her injured eye. Since then she's one of our favorites, and she poses for us in exchange for lunch.
Jerry - Thanks for the comment. I like the Sigma lens lots, but it is quite heavy.. because of that weight, had to get a new tripod (really needed a new one anyway, but news lens was a great excuse!). I have 2 complaints about the lens otherwise.. first, the weight of the lens makes handholding shots even at wide angle difficult and tiring, also shadow of lens shows up in shots when the lens is fully extended. Other than that, I'm quite happy with it. I too started with a Rebel, and went digital from there.
