About A roar of an appeal went out for LBW. But unfortunately it was not given.

*Exposure seems somewhat better this week. Bought a dodgy polariser. Couldn't use it so just added UV filter and shot RAW.

My eyes popped out on stalks as I thought I had read that you had shot this in the raw, now that would have been appealing. I think this is a cracking shot sweetie and the details in their whites are great. Good all round colour and detail to the compo. I'm sorry to say that from where I am sitting the batsman was NOT out :):):)
Get yourself a polariser that works...if you only use the one filter in your life it has to be the polariser. There, I've said my bit my sweet Rina and looking at the time I guess you are about to go into tomorrow from our today.. A big hug and my best wishes.....Ray

Me thinks you've just nailed the exact reason why ANY woman would want to spend a long day watching the cricket!!! :))

I am finding it hard to get the exposure right. Hubby bought a couple of second-hand filters for me the other day. I particularly wanted to whack on the polariser to turn down the glare from the uniforms, but when I tried it, the blasted thing wouldn't let me focus! Goodness knows why and very very frustrating. Mr Filter Man will be hearing from us first thing monday...

Even without the filter, I am a little more satisfied with this week's results. Though, I suspect it has a lot to do with shooting in RAW.

Thanks Ann :)

Is it that time of the year again where all those guys in white rub those cricket balls on their whites in rude places and run up and down a little strip of cement whilst yelling at each other? :)

This must be hard to photograph because of those whites but you've done a great job on the exposure here. The colours and tones are wonderful Rina. Super composition and a great action shot. Well done.

Cheers - Ann :)

The exposure looks great to me Rina. The whites are just right. Looks like a pretty intense game, eh? Your colors look really good to me too. Good one.

Nice, crisp image, Rina! You certainly are doing a good job of stopping the action in these shots! Well done!
