Gil this is a really nice photo. The lighting is quite even like you might see on an overcast day. The pose of Calli is quite classic. All four legs are seen and the tail is standing in an attentive pose. I very much like that you can see his/her eye so clearly. It appears there is even a little catchlight in his/her eye. Also the tight crop works very well. This is quite a good portrait of Calli. Nicely done.

That is a good shot of your dog. Light and details are good. Calli seems to be watching something intently.
